As a part of the ongoing water meter swap program, more City of Fulshear residents will gain access to an online portal that allows you to see hourly consumption data, leak detection alerts and more.

The City began the meter swap program in 2024. As the City underwent this transition for each customer, residents with the new meter lost access to the portal that was connected to the ‘old’ meter. However, we have officially reached over 50% of customers who now have the new meters, which means the portal is now available to more residents.

What will this look like: residents with the new meters are gaining portal access, while those still with the ‘old’ meters will lose access. All residents will have access to the portal as soon as August as the meter swap program is expected to be completed.

To emphasize - should a resident want information on their water meter readings/data they can call our Utilities department and retrieve that information as we can still collect it internally.

How do you know if you have a new meter with portal access? Follow the steps below. If no data appears for your meter, this means you have an old meter. Still, you're encouraged to sign up and go through the registration process as meters are swapped weekly.

Please also use this time to update/confirm your email address and contact information to our Utilities team to ensure you are receiving accurate and timely information: utilityservices@fulsheartexas.gov

Step 2: If this is your first time using the portal, you will have to sign up. Locate the Register hyperlink and select it. It will require you to input your name and email.

Step 3: Check your email for the activation of account link. Once you open the email, select the Activate Account hyperlink

Step 4: After activating the account you will be taken back to the portal to add your account. Select the add account hyperlink.

Step 5: Add in your account number and last payment which you will find on your last bill.

Step 5: Congratulations! You have successfully set up your online payment portal. If you have a new meter, a Sensus meter, you will see the features available to you on the portal, including an hourly usage data tab. IF you do not have this access, this means you still have an old meter. All customers are expected to have a new meter and portal access by August of 2025.
