Health Guidelines for Temporary Events

Coordinating An Event

As the City has grown, we have seen an increase in differing types of festivals and events. In an effort to ensure the food and drink provided to the public at these events is safe and prepared in sanitary conditions, the City of Fulshear requires a temporary food permit for any event taking place within the city limits of Fulshear where food or beverages will be offered to the public (for free or for sale) at a location other than a permanent fixed food establishment.

Temporary Health Permits

Temporary Retail Food Establishment Three-Day Event:

  • Each permit is for three days
  • Is a single event and not recurring
  • Permit issued for specific dates on which the event will be held
  • Submit online
  • You must submit the application and all required documents in GovWell at least three days prior to the event. Applications submitted less than three days before the event will incur a $100 late fee per single event
