Festive in Fulshear

Each weekend in December the Fulshear EDC partners with local Fulshear businesses to host a festive community event! Checkout what we've got in store this year!

City of Fulshear Christmas Tree Lighting-December 6th, 2025 @4 p.m.-7 p.m.

Join the City of Fulshear for a magical evening at our annual Christmas Tree Lighting! Enjoy festive performances by the Huggins Elementary School Choir, sip warm hot cocoa from our friends at L3 Coffee, snap photos and write letters to Santa, and explore a variety of cheerful, family-friendly activities. As the sun sets, we’ll light up the night with the glow of our community Christmas tree a moment you won’t want to miss! And the fun doesn’t stop there! Stick around as the Fulshear Police Department hosts a special showing of the holiday classic Home Alone to keep the holiday spirit going. The celebration takes place at Fulshear City Hall, 6611 W Cross Creek Bend Lane, Fulshear, TX 77441.

Tacky Christmas Sweater Party at The Growler Spot-December 19th, 2025 @ 7:00 p.m.

Come on out and join our craft beer experts at The Growler Spot for a night of wonderfully tacky Christmas fun! Located at 29615 Farm to Market 1093 in Fulshear, TX, this festive evening is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. We’ve teamed up to make sure it’s a night to remember, complete with a pop-up photo booth so you can capture all the laughs, sweaters, and memories for years to come. Cheers for holiday beer! 

A Hallmark Fulshear Christmas at Dozier's BBQ-December 20th, 2025 @11 a.m.-1p.m.

It’s a Hallmark Christmas here in Fulshear! Come join us as we celebrate the season and highlight some of our favorite local businesses at Dozier’s BBQ, located at 8222 Main Street, Fulshear, Texas 77441. This festive event will feature free paint-your-own cookie kits from Sugarberry Cookie Shoppe, beautiful Christmas blooms from Tiffany’s Tiny Flower Truck, fun and festive tees from Crafty Wine Mama Designs, mouthwatering BBQ from community favorite Dozier’s, and a mini vendor fair showcasing a curated collection of locally owned gems. Come eat, shop, sip, and soak in the holiday magic! 

Photography Contest

The 2025 Photography Contest is open for submissions May 26 -June 27.

The Fulshear Economic Development Corporation is hosting the third annual photography contest honoring the City of Fulshear’s Bicentennial. We are searching for images from our local photographers. All photos submitted must be the original work of the entrant. This year we are looking to highlight: 

What does Fulshear mean to you?

We encourage photographers to focus on people, places, animals, and florals.

Fulshear's Folly

A long-time tradition is coming back to Fulshear! Fulshear's Folly is being reignited as a fall concert and family friendly weekend, featuring a live concert, food, drinks, and shopping.

In the 1940s, Fulshear residents and guests came together every Fourth of July for a barbecue and picnic, celebrating with their neighbors in an event they officially named Fulshear's Folly in 1978.  Now, the City is reviving the event, continuing the long-standing tradition and infusing it with new festivities and ideas. 

Fulshear's Folly will be held in the beginning of October. Please check back later for more information. 

In addition to EDC events, the Fulshear Regional Chamber for Commerce hosts a variety of business-centric events throughout the year.
