Responsibilities

Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) shall exercise the following powers and be required to:

1. Hear and decide appeals where it is alleged that there is an error in any order or decision by city officials in the administration and enforcement of this CDO;
2. Hear and decide appeals of any interpretation of the text of this CDO made by the building official or administrator pursuant to section 28-7-32, interpretations; and
3. Hear and decide requests for variances from the terms of this CDO pursuant to the procedures and standards of section 28-7-33, variances.
