City of Fulshear Charter

The City of Fulshear Charter requires the City Council to appoint a Charter Review Commission every five years to review the City's Charter and recommend any necessary updates.

The Commission consists of 13, 15, or 17 members appointed by the City Council from a pool of qualified applicants. Appointments are made at the first regular City Council meeting following the anniversary of the Charter's adoption. The Commission serves for six months, unless its term is extended by the City Council, and meets at least once each month during its service.

Any proposed Charter amendments approved by the City Council will be submitted to the voters of Fulshear for consideration in an election.

The Charter Review Commission meets as needed.
