City of Fulshear EDC Launches Entrepreneurial Workshop Series

Post Date:04/13/2026

The City of Fulshear Economic Development Department is proud to announce a new partnership to launch an entrepreneurial one-day intensive workshop series, designed to equip local entrepreneurs and small business owners with tools to start, grow, and scale their businesses.

The program will consist of three full-day Saturday workshops scheduled for April 18, August 29, and October 17. The workshops will take place at the Irene Stern Community Center in Fulshear. Each session will provide training on key topics including startup ideation, financial planning, customer development, and pitching strategies.

The workshops are built around elements of the globally recognized Founder Institute entrepreneurship curriculum, bringing experienced mentors, founders, and business leaders together to guide participants through intensive, hands-on learning sessions.

Designed for entrepreneurs at any stage, from idea to early growth, the program will provide actionable strategies, networking opportunities, and direct mentorship from experienced professionals. The format allows participants to attend individual workshops that fit their schedule while gaining practical knowledge that can be applied immediately to their ventures.

To reserve a seat, participants must submit a $50 refundable deposit, which helps ensure committed participation while keeping the program accessible to aspiring and existing business owners.

“This series is about giving entrepreneurs the tools and confidence to turn ideas into successful businesses,” said Annel Guadalupe, Fulshear Director of Economic Development. “By bringing high-quality entrepreneurship education directly to our community, we are continuing to build an environment where innovation, small businesses, and local talent can thrive.”

Each workshop will run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Space for the workshops is limited to ensure an interactive and personalized learning environment. Entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners interested in participating can reserve their spot by submitting the $50 deposit when registration opens. You can register by emailing ecodev@fulsheartexas.gov or send in any questions you may have.
