Public Service Recognition Week
May 5–11, 2025
This week honors the millions of public employees at the federal, state, and local levels. It’s a time to recognize the essential services that government workers provide. The City of Fulshear currently employs nearly 100 people. This year, the City celebrated two longstanding employees: Jerone McKinney and Lynn Raymer. Mckinney served the City for 46 years, starting back in 1979. Raymer served for 11 years, driving the radKIDS and Drug Take Back initiatives for the police department.
Economic Development Week
May 6–10, 2025
Economic Development Week celebrates the work of professionals who drive growth, investment, and innovation in our communities. In Fulshear, the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) plays a vital role in supporting local businesses, attracting new opportunities, and laying the groundwork for a prosperous future. From infrastructure planning to small business outreach, economic development efforts help shape the city’s long-term success. This week is a chance to recognize the strategic work being done to ensure Fulshear continues to thrive as one of the fastest-growing cities in the region.
National Police Week
May 12–18, 2025
Coinciding with Peace Officers Memorial Day on May 15, this week honors the men and women who serve in law enforcement. It is also a solemn opportunity to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. In Fulshear, we are proud of our police department and the vital role they play in building a safe, connected, and family-friendly community. We invite you to commend our officers by visiting here.
