City Council appoints new city manager
City Council voted in a unanimous decision to appoint Zach Goodlander as the new City Manager for the City of Fulshear. City Council and Baker Tilly, an executive search firm, conducted a comprehensive search and thorough evaluation process prior to making their decision at the regular city council meeting on August 20, 2024.
Goodlander began serving as Acting City Manager for the City of Fulshear in February of 2024. Goodlander has lived and worked in the City of Fulshear since 2019. “I look forward to continuing to serve my Fulshear community in this role and to work to bring Council’s and the community’s goals to fruition,” said Goodlander.
“Congratulations to Zach Goodlander on becoming our new City Manager of Fulshear, Texas! We’re thrilled to welcome such a smart and innovative leader, and we can’t wait to see the incredible impact he will have as he helps our city move forward into the future," said Mayor Don McCoy.
An introductory event for the community will be scheduled soon, providing residents an opportunity to meet and visit with Goodlander. Details will be shared as soon as possible.
