The City of Fulshear and the Fulshear Katy Area Chamber of Commerce will be co-hosting their annual "Fulshear Festival of Lights" on December 7, 2019 at the Fulshear High School from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Due to mobility issues, construction in the downtown area, and for your safety, the event has been moved to the Fulshear High School. There will be plenty of parking and more room to have some fun!

This years band will be "Nick and the Groove." Does the name sound familiar? If it doesn’t, prepare to be blown away and instantly turned into a fan! What started as a few teenagers "jamming" together at the School of Rock in Clear Lake has quickly turned into a band that's not to be missed. All band members are between 16 and 19, and in less than a year have garnered the attention of major area events, radio and television outlets, not to mention hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube and beyond.

A Festival of Lights Parade will begin at 6:00 PM, traveling south on Charger Way. Community members and organizations are encouraged to participate in the parade which has no registration cost. Light up your vehicles, trailers, pets and most importantly yourselves! You can make it a fun family project or team building exercise for your business or organization. Either way, it will be fun for all.

You can register for the parade until Friday, November 22, 2019 at www.FulshearKaty.com

Vendors and Food Trucks will be set up with food, crafts, clothing and jewelry so you can get some holiday shopping done early.

Santa will arrive during the parade and festival patrons can meet Santa afterwards. The YMCA will sponsor and feature a large children's area which will include lots of fun for the kids. The event will also feature a short Christmas themed fireworks presentation during the evening.
