Fulshear City Council met in special session last night, October 22, 2017, to consider several items of importance including group homes, annexation, and an agreement in connection with the departure of the city manager.
Council heard an overview from the City’s legal counsel on statutes and regulations regarding group homes. They also acted to direct staff to continue negotiations of an agricultural development agreement with the landowners of an approximately 580-acre tract, and to continue preparing a service plan for the property. Additionally, City Council acted to adopt a separation agreement and general release of the City Manager, and to adjust the next regular City Council meeting date.
City Council’s next regular meeting will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at 7 p.m. at the Irene Stern Community Center, not November 21, as originally scheduled.
