The Fulshear City Council will meet in regular session Tuesday, June 20 at 7:00 p.m. at the Irene Stern Community, 6920 Fulshear-Katy Road. With the added Council positions approved in the Charter and filled in May, the Council has outgrown the facilities at City Hall. Future meetings will all be held at the community center.
Among the agenda items to be discussed Tuesday are board and commission appointments and Fulshear area addressing.
Council is expected to consider appointments to both the A and B Economic Development Corporation boards, the Planning and Zoning Commission, the Zoning Board of Adjustment and the Parks and Recreation Commission.
After working with the Postal Service for over a year to modify Fulshear’s zip code boundaries to better resemble the City’s municipal boundaries, City Council is expected to consider a resolution providing for the official designation of a “preferred last line” for addresses falling within the City of Fulshear’s City Limits and Extraterritorial Jurisdiction.
