The City of Fulshear has undergone tremendous growth in the last three years, with the addition of two new developments. Cross Creek Ranch located off FM1093 on the east side of Fulshear and Fulshear Creek Crossing located off FM1093 on the west side of Fulshear. Population has essentially doubled with more growth coming. Cross Creek Ranch has averaged 20 homes per month in sales, and ranks #10 in the Houston area in home sales.
Fulshear is quickly becoming a polo destination. This area, alone, has four polo fields, which are home to many games during the fall and spring season. Our own field is owned by the Waters family and is a beautiful addition to Fulshear.
Oak Bend Medical Clinic is opening in January 2011 with a Family Practice Doctor and access to award winning OakBend Hospital's specialists. New businesses continue to make their way to Fulshear as we grow. The new Dekker's Grill, located where the old Moore's Doublehorn used to be, will also be opening the first part of next year headed by former Aquarium chef, Anthony Dekker. Fulshear is already home to eight restaurants ranging from the gourmet cuisine of Ray's Grill to the favorite Texas Tradition serving down home Texas comfort food.
Our shopping district has two beautiful boutiques for the most discriminating shopper with items for your baby to Brighton jewelry and bags for mommy. Make a visit to Gaby's and Mosaic to see what they have in store for you.
Unique to our town is The Sweet Tooth Shoppe - a candy lover's dream. The Sweet Tooth carries the old, the new, gourmet candies, as well as Godiva chocolates. A virtual feast for your eyes and the "child" in everyone.
The Exotic Urn rounds out our shopping experience with beautiful antiques and designer gifts sure to entice.
One of our newest additions to Fulshear is the Timewise Station that will be going in at the corner of FM1463 and FM1093. It will also be home to a McDonald's much to the delight of the local children.
Also, coming to Fulshear is the Churchill Fields development adjacent to Cross Creek Ranch and fronting FM1463. This will be a 250 acre community with price points from $170's to the $300's. This is a Beazer Home development.
We like to refer to Fulshear as "urban country" - the amenities with a relaxed lifestyle.
Our sales tax revenue remains steady, and as you will see by our power point presentation located on the link below, Fulshear continues to grow by leaps and bounds.
